LS430's are one of the most well built cars i've ever seen

 

This thread makes me regret not waiting a bit longer to get an LS! Luckily, prices are dropping

 

Awsome cars. I just sold my mercedes and I'm picking up an LS430. I'd like to spend under 15k for the car before mods. I want to ask the following questions so I buy the right car...

Is there a huge difference between 2001-2003 and 2004 and newer models? I know the lights changed and I think the transmission too. Does that matter much?

Can 2001-2003 models get upgraded to 2004+ headlights and taillights?

Can you easily add a turbo and supercharger?

Is there a better way to mod the car?

Additional mods?

Is there a difference in modding a 01-03 vs 04+?
