The grilles are usually cheaper though. There is a guy in Dallas Texas that sells grilles for $40. If you search "LS430" on the Dallas-Fort Worth Craigslist his ads should show up. I bet he would ship it to you.
Have you personally seen any of these cheap grilles in person ? I was thinkin the non chrome with a black pearl emblem might look good on my black LS . The other option is to paint my grill . The chrome does not look good anymore since it is a 2001 but not sure how the paint would adhere without doing a bunch of prep work.

Yeah, I actually own a few of those grilles. They look great in person. Non chrome with a black pearl emblem should look nice.
Painting chrome is tricky from what I hear. The best way to do it is to strip the chrome off and then paint it but I don't know how to do that.
