Yah, especially for CA. Perhaps it's a smoker's car?
But definitely worth a call for those looking to get one on the west coast. It'll sell REAL quick if it's a "real deal". Could be the interior is messed up tho (from kids, etc.).
I got my 2004 UL LS430 from FL 6 months ago with 42K miles @ $35K, and thta was probably one of the best deals around... (big thanks to member here who pointed me to it)
no, no heads up displays. I have one in my Grand Prix. It is great. I can't tell you how cool a feature it is, not only for it's usibility, but also for the wow factor when someone drives your car. I love letting people drive the car.
I gave Nash auto a call and talked to a Jennifer. Real nice gal. Asked about the heads up and she said it was a mistake and she was going to correct the posting. She also thought the plastic shield over the L on the grill was to protect the L. Informed her that it protected the radar cruise control. They also have their own web site with LOTS more pictures. www.nashauto.com then click on inventory and then Lexus.

2004LS UL
The plastic on the L means the car has the pre-collision system. Paired with the Ultra package, and thats as fully loaded as an LS gets.

Since they messed up on the HUD, is it possible that the car really isn't a UL?
If the pictures are in fact the right ones, its def a UL.

I stand corrected. I should have known that since mine has it.
Just sold my MINT '03 LS430 UL for $31k. That was definitely a good deal for the buyer. Market for big luxo V8 cars is somewhat "soft" here in the Bay Area (NorCal) with the cost of gas. We are the highest priced in the country! Yuck! Check out Craigslist, there's a few LS430s on there. Good luck with your search.
I'm cautious about buying a UL. It seems to recieve the most complaints (air ride mostly).
Please tell me what you been hearing about the air ride? Break down? I heard issue about the first generation LS400 but haven't follow the LS430.
The LS430 at Nash is the Ultra with Pre-Collision System. They provide Carfax with no problem, and when I finally get to see the car I can see that the car has been repainted on both bumpers. The left rear quarter panel has been repaint also. Jennifer acted suprise. If there are paint runs on the panel and overspray inside the gas door, behind the hood and the sale person doesn't know. We left because if the dishonest way they presented. If they say the car has been repainted, we might consider the car... Anyone should know that with a fairly new car like that and the dealer doesn't consider leaving in their lot for sale has to be somehting obvious that an average person can see the problem.
