Just bought an 01 LS430 Ultra, on my way back the radar cruise would not work, Red light on dash and display of CHECK CRUISE SYSTEM, normal cruise works fine, any ideas??

 

Not sure if the 01 has the clear plastic plate behind the L on the grill but if bugs get on the sensor it will cause that reading. I've also gotten that while traveling in certain places. I'll go 30 miles - try it again - and it will work fine.

 

I have cleaned the lens several times but it still won't work.
