I have a couple questions that I couldnt find using search. I need to change my cabin filter for my 01 ls430 UL. Where is it located and how do I change it?

-Also, Where can I find a replacement air purifier filter?

don't know if the 01 has them in the same place but my 05 is located behind the glove box compartment,, easy to remove the back and access the filter,,

you may want to try the Lexus site as they have many PFDs you can download for mntc and other car items,,

open your glove box, remove cover. use orignal filters as they contain charcoal to help absorb odours.

 

How often and at what mileage does Lexus recommend this filter be replaced?

 

32000 km, your info display on your instrument cluster should let you know. to reset just hold the fan off button for a few seconds after turning the key on.

 

just changed it, man does it make a difference. Took less than 5 min too.
