Questions regarding 2004 sport suspens.
Hi Guys,
I currently own a GS 430, and I was looking for a larger bask seat so the LS seems like a good choice. I came across a 04 LS with the sport suspension, I was wondering if anyone could comment oh how this suspension set up rides?
is it much harsher than stock?
I havent seen this sport suspension on ANY other LS's that i have seen on the web.
delaler is looking to get 42,000. it has under 20 K on the clock and comes with nav, heated r/seats, smart key. Any commments are appreciated.
I cant jump on it cause they seem to be shooting me low on my trade--04 GS 430 w/ nav, mark lev, wing. 44k on the clock they will only offer up 30 K for mine...kinda a deal stopper for now.

I drove the Sport Suspension model before I bought my non-sport. I liked the Sport a lot, but I bought the non-sport because I found the right car and I was planning to replace the stock shocks with Tein CS coilovers anyway so that I could lower the car a little bit. (Not many Sports out there, so if you're picky about what you want, you may be waiting a long time to find the right car at the right price with Sport Suspension.)
That being said, I don't think there is THAT much difference between the Sport and the standard suspension. There IS a noticeable difference, but I think that a good bit of what I noticed would have been due to the tires and wheels. And compared to my Tein CS coilover setup with 19" performance tires and wheels, there is NO difference between the standard and Sport -- both are a lot softer and less controlled than the aftermarket setup. The biggest improvement with my current setup is in steering feel and handling. It really changed the car in the direction of a BMW type feel, but without losing the Lexus comfort, IMO.
