Default 02-->06 headlight swap?

I got a rear hit 2002 LS430 from a private dealer auction for $9700 CDN
since its back hit im gonna be doing a 2006 rear conversion (trunk lid, lights)

My question is.. i would like projector healdights for my front, if i buy them from ebay, are they a direct swap? 2002 to 2006 headlights?

clean title btw

Front lights are not a direct swap at all.

Its also interesting to note, that in the US, you can only get that wood color with the Ultra pkg in the pre '04 if im not mistaken.

I also found that interesting. I thought that the ecru/gray and black/bordeaux were exclusive to the UL interiors. odd.

I personally think you should go fo r the 04-06 conversion for the rear but keep the front original. Thats the way the 3rd gens looks best IMO. Good luck and conratulations

yeah if you wanna swap the front headlights, at least you need new hood and new fenders as well. not sure if you need new bumper and foglights too

Great pics of your progress. Seems like your working hard. Very nice man

Now, did you buy a 2004+ trunk lid to fit the new tail lights?

very nice progress pics indeed. seems like the corner of the trunk lid doesn't match up well with the fender?

Nice progress. You have any pics of the cutout of the old right quarter panel and fitting of the new white panel? Thats pretty cool, I'd like to see how thats done. Also, please do post more pics of the progress onwards especially during the paint stage.

Good luck and keep up the good work!

Kumanan, thank you for the pictures of the work in progress.

I love the ecru wood in the 01-03 and the exterior changes on the 04-05.
I would love to see this transformation completed

Like what Henry said, what have you done about the corner of the trunk lid not lining up?

Looks like the trunk (an 04+ LS lid?) may have a more agressive lip on the top edge there than the 01-03s. Maybe its just th epics but it looks different from my 02, anyone know if this might be the case?
