Default Rain Sensor Fell Off

I have 2002 LS430 which has had the windshield replaced with aftermarket glass before I bought it. The rain sensor fell off on a recent warm day.

Any recommendations for the glue/double sided tape to use to reattach? Does Lexus offer a glue or tape pad (if so anyone know part number)? I don't want to permanent bond, as if I have to replace the windshield in the future, I don't want to have to buy a new sensor.

TIA for any recommendations.

3M double sided tape should do the trick.

yup, super strong 3m exterior mounting tape, the kind that holds 5lbs.

Nope, go to Pepboys or track auto and get the Mirror mount glue and use it to re-glue the sensor. Keep in mind you are only glue the metal hook to the winshield. Make sure you clean it good. Takes about 5mins to do.
