Update: Taken my car to Mission Veijo in S.Cal three times, same complaint with harsh ride, they said "nothing wrong with your car and that just the way the car designed", brushed me off completely. Again, I requested Lexus customer service to intervene; referred me to Tustin Lexus, service tech diagnosed the problem in the first 15 sec of test drive, found strut seal leaks to the right front air suspension system, fixed it and checked all other area. The car now ride like it was new, I reported Lexus of Mission Veijo to the BBB for the shaddy service, which I asked them to open the suspension system to check it three times, they refused. Focus on the strut seal leaks if you have problem with the harsh ride. Swiftm001
Hello, I have a 2002 LS430 with 56000 miles on it. I just had to replace right and left rear height controller and right rear air strut. It was easy enough to do myself but the parts were very painfull. Good luck Mike

.....I will take my vehicle to Tustin Lexus and see what they can do. I have no luck so far and Longo Lexus has "washed their hands off the problem". My car still rides like there was no suspension underneath there at times. Could you tell me if there is a particular tech or Service Advisor I should see, so that I can reference your case for my problem??
Well, until today I thought the air suspension was trouble-free. Noticed the front tires were showing signs of cupping and took to shop for analysis. Diagnosis was both struts were toast. Oil leaking everywhere. Must be having a special on struts, only $1100 each.
2004 Ul with 40k miles. Car was riding like crap so had the dealer check it out at my 40k service. They discovered that both rear shocks were leaking. Replaced under warranty. Much better but I don't think it is perfect. Need to go test drive other 2004's and compare.
I have a data system air controller in my car and it works great! I love the suspension and the ride didn't really change too much from stock. IMO, I think it's probably one of the best suspension systems I had on a car...I say it's worth getting.
