I have an '03 LS with the Ultra Lux package. I played around with the height adjusment and didn't notice any difference wether I put it on HIGH or NORMAL. It still had the same HUGE gap in the front wheels nor noticed any changes in the rear. One weird thing that did happen one day was I noticed it LOW while it was parked and the engine shut off. But only that one time. What gives???
I have the 04 UL, and also tried many 01-03 UL during my search. I can never detect any height difference either by look or while sitting in the car. One of the sales person told me to put one food on the ground while pushing the button, supposedly you can feel the car adjusting. I didnt feel it either.
I think the adjustment is so minor that it's unnoticeable. Friend of mine that is a tech at Lexus said they have an internal tool that can plug into the air suspension system for adjustment and repair purpose. His friends has dropped the suspension and gave the car a 'slammed' look before for fun (obviously not within Lexus specs). I think the aftermarket air suspensoin kit does similar thing. Just not sure what that means for alignment...etc.
i couldn't notice much diffrence at all too. i thought the height adjustment is more when you are driving and not when the car is standing still? like at higher speed the car will go lower
