Default Body kit with only 18" wheels ?

I've always loved how the current S Class looks with the AMG body kit and just Monoblock AMG 18" rims. I was thinking about putting a Wald body kit on my black LS430 but only leave on just the polished sport 18's which look like the monoblock Benz rims. Usually people will automatically put 20's on when they buy a body kit.

How do you think it'll look with just stock 18's?

Here is an S Class with AMG body kit. It is still stunning even today. Just timeless style!!

I'm sure it'll look fine if you keep the 18's on there since it's only a lip kit. You could always upgrade your wheels to 19's or 20's later if you're not satisfied.

ummm, couple of things to keep in mind

1) the mb has less wheel gap than the ls430, especially in the front. with 18s, the optical illusion will make you think the the gap is even more
2) the mb wheels are MUCH more aggressive than those on the ls430, meaning the ls430 wheels are more inset than those amg wheels.

in both cases, imho, with body kits the car will look funnier and not as good as the amg. my sc430 was on stock 18s for a while and body kits, let's just say it was a no-no.

now if you have body kits, some aftermarket 18s that are more aggressive and to the fenders, and the front is not as tall (wheel gap), then that's no problem for sure -- just like amg

JLAWS, I saw a picture of your car on the other post:

That looks very nice. It looks as if it's lowered. I think 18 should look fine

That pic was photoshoped by me.. If Lexus lowered the LS a bit and made the sport wheel in 19's or 20's it would look something like that
