No offense, but unless you are like 70 years old, why would it be a decision? You have an LS so you can obviously afford it...

They look very "weak" without tint. Again- no offense.

Sorry- I don't know the %, but it is the highest allowed in Texas. Had it done at Sewell Lexus for 400 with lifetime warranty.

bigDlexus-

haha..I need to decide because my LS has beige interior and the legal tint % in OR doesn't seem dark enough to make my black/beige LS looks stand out. I'd like to tint it to make it aggresive-looking. thus I want to see how different tint % on LS look like.

DaveGS4-
thanks a lot for the links.

bigDlexus-

is your tint the metallized one (what brand is yours?); I've heard that the metallized one causes interference with NAV, AM radio and also satellite radio. I don't have the satellite radio yet but want to make sure if I tint it, I don't have to redo it next time around.

any inputs anyone?

I don't have XM, but my nav works fine, and AM also works fine. I am very sorry I don't know the brand name of the tint. It can't be junk because Sewell backs it up with their own LIFETIME warranty.

Can you drive to a nieghboring state to get darker tint? Maybe you could buddy up to a local installer and have him come to your house and install something a little darker that you ordered out of state.

You guys in OR sure don't have much vehicular freedom.... Do you still have to have your gas pumped for you? (serious question- no sarcasm)

oh ya....and I don't have a problems seeing out while driving.

I used to have a honda accord with 5% all around, and that was a pain in the A$$....and lets not get into how many times I got pulled over for the tint.
