Man, I so feel your pain!

One of my friends took his 97 NSX to Acura to get an oil change and some minor work, gets the car back...with some ODD touch up paint in the rear. Ends up the Acura dealer had a fender bender in the bays, with his NSX and some kids TSX.

Another friend took his 350z to shop to get a leak checked out...ends up the guy taking the car off the track didn't know the car was a 6 spd and ended up ripping the CF lip off the car...

So ya....I feel ya bro!

I got my service at lexus of watertown, Mass.

I got the service on the 29th but only notice the problem yesterday, 30th. This teaches me to inspect the car before leaving. I took a couple of pictures and send a message to the consultant and the service manager. Let see what they say...

Dealer said they will fix it this time. They also said that they won't be responsible if it happens again....Well I have to go somewhere else for next service then.

Why would they bother to go through the trouble, if they are going to scare you from coming back???

You would think that they would fix it, and apologize so you would return to them again for service, or refuse, and accept the fact they lost you as a customer. Strange. At least you can get your ride fixed.

I guess they mean if you point out the damage right away when the car is still at dealer's lot, they wouldn't be responsible for it. However, that just tells you how "dedicate" they are for their value customers. Don't go there again.

Hm...I don't know. They said they will fix it and they need to have the car for a few days. They will give me a loaner.

Doesn't sound like you are getting a new one, I'm sure the body shop guy will do a satisfactory job. Hopefully they'll give it back to you after the paint dries otherwise the dirt will stick when driving it home. When I leave my car for something, I usually take down the mileage before I leave it. I am always curious to see how much "joy riding" miles is put on it. I have a few friend who are mechanics that admitted they used my car to make a lunch run for the shop
I don't mind since they do thing for me such as brake jobs for like $40
They needed to "test" the brakes

Wow, I'm glad they will honor your request and "fix" it. Just make sure your loaner is nothing less than an ES. Don't accept a Ford Focus!!!

no way they will get a new one, and to be honest i don't think that's necessary. it's fiber glass and these are too bad of a damage to repair

good luck man
