2006 Ls Hp And Tq
i see that lexus has updated their website for the 06 LS. and it states that the hp and tq are rated at 278 and 312, respectively. can anyone tell me why this is case. i didn't expect a boost in hp/tq since the new one is coming out soon, but not a downgrade.

According to the reviews I was reading at my Lexus dealer 2 days ago, the engine remains exactly the same as the 2005 version. HP and torgue are the same. The reason for the decrease in HP/torque RATING is that the method that they are required to use to arrive at this rating has changed and it will affect all manufacturers in the 2006 models.
