Question on memory functions
Does anyone have any experience regarding LS430 memory functions with either a discharged/ or disconnected battery. Do all functions get blanked ie. Bluetooth phone settings, navigation presets, auto up and down windows, etc.?

I checked the LS NAVI manual and it says on p. 160 and 165 that if the battery is disconnected, then all memory settings for preset radio stations is lost. It seems unfortunately that if the battery is disconnected, all prior settings will be lost.... 
Wonder if there's a workaround for this problem...if only one could do 'heart bypass surgery' and have backup power to the car or its NAVI system computer during such an operation.
