Default Wheel Recommendations

I just bought a Black/Black 2002 LS 430 and would like to upgrade the wheels and tires, was looking at both Lowenhart LD5's and L Sportline 4's in 18s and 19s. Would like some advice on if the ride quality differs much from the 18 to the 19 and if I should get the staggered rims or one size for all 4 rims and what tires would you recommend for a healty balance of performance and ride quality? Live in Texas so roads are pretty good here in Dallas. Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I would go with 19's. 18's might look a tad small on such a big car. Also, is your heart set on those rims? I have always loved the Mono-Block look on LS's. I know Amistad is having a group buy right now, and here is what their mono-block style wheel looks like-

I think the type-G in a Black with polished lip would look great on a Black on Black LS!

Heres some examples...

Or the type-D

agreed... especially if you would be willing to put the wald lip kit on! I would definitly go with the 19" wheel, and I still think that the fuller wheel (like the ones I posted), looks best on the LS, as they appear to be classier and less "racey".

That Wald stuff is very sweet. I agree about the big block wheels after looking at them, any other recommendations on wheels like that outside of the Wald's?

Default Wow

WOW Great pictures, I've also been wheel shopping for my Silver LS430 and was looking for a dish type wheel, It appears that Wald, Amistad, and Work all have a pretty similar styled wheel. Does anyone have any opinions as to the price vs qualtiy equation? If I think correctly, Wald will be the priciest at $4000 a set, then Work at about $3000 and finally Amistad at around $2400 for a 19",depending on options, finish ect.... Does this sound about right??

Any opinions?? They are all so similar..

Any opinions as to machined, polish or chrome??
My RSpec 680 hight controller just came in maybe this weekend I'll be low riding....
