Thumbs up LS430 R-Spec Air Ride Controller Installed!!!

Well I was finally able to install the R-Spec ASC680 air ride controller thanks to no other than Steve Ganz at Carson Toyota! The istallation is all plug and play and setup was a breeze even though I do not read japanese. There are so many functions this controller can do! There are even several memory settings to save different ride setups! Think of it like a Tein EDFC with the abilty to control ride height at the push of a button!

sorry in advance for the camera phone pics.

Yes, Details PLEASE !

Where'd you get it and how much was it?? Can you lower the front and rear seperately and does the car still automaticly lower itself at 60 MPH? Does it have any effect on the Sport vs. Regular seting for the shock absorbers???

Inquiring minds want to know!

THANKS!

quick reply:
The unit is plug&play with the specific harness. The install took 30 minutes including initial setup. The cost was around $700 for the controller and harness. The are several functions and memory settings for the unit and each wheel can be controlled with indvidual height and dampening. The is a total of 6 inches of height travel that can be adjusted (2" above stock and 4" below).

You can set your own ride heightto automatically drop for any given speed above 60mph.

Thanks for the replys.

Where did you purchase the unit, $700 sounds like a pretty good price.

How is the ride when in the lower settings,

can you set the shocks stiffness independant of the ride height,

do the shock stiffen up as you go lower,

or does it do nothing for the shocks?

Thasnks for taking the time to answer all of out questions, I have been looking for one of these units but have found no-one that has a controller and I don't know where to purchase one.

Thanks
