exhaust tip diameter

what is the exhaust tip diameter on an 01 ls 430? I would like to know so I can get some chrome or stainless tips for mine.

I bought Borla tips for my '04 LS from AJ USA, www.ajusa.com. The part number was 20155 and it shows an inlet size of 2 1/2". They fit perfectly and look great on the car.

yeah but that doesnt mean the diameter of the 04 tips is the same as an 01

Geezzz, why's it so difficult to figure out the inlet diameter of your tailpipe? Take a ruler or measuring tape and measure it. Most likely it's 2 1/4" or 2 1/2".

It's not brain surgery.
