When was the Navigation system last updated? I believe there is an update every October. If I wanted to update, should I wait till October this year (probably so)?

How much does the update cost? Do I have to get it through the dealer or are there other sites on the net that I can get this from?

Last one was in 2003, I believe. The cost from a dealer seems to be somewhere between $250-300 depending on the dealer. I updated from the 2001 DVD to the 2003 DVD about 2 months ago, but the 2003 DVD still doesn't have my development (built 2002) in the database.

 

my update a couple of months ago (ver. 3) seems to have fewer options, has the menu and options minimize? i have 02 gs430.
