There have been reports that eventually, there will be a hybrid option with all models across the entire Lexus line, similar to RX330/RX400H. Nothing official from Lexus yet for the other models though.

There is lots of chatter and links on the Edmunds LS forum about a 2007 LS hybrid. Some say there will be two versions 400HP or 600HP. I doubt that!
The LS gets excellent MPG considering it's class. In pursuit of perfection,however, it would seem to me that a MPG improvement would be on the docket. That would be having your cake and eating it, too.
