Test drive..

I test drove a 2003 LS 430 yesterday and was quite impresed.. But now that I think back, can someone tell me something.. When the car is drive (meaning 5 gear mode) is the (4) also lit? I'm looking at the brochure now and it shows the stick is in the same place for the 4 and D.. Was I driving around in 4th or 5th?

In "D" you are in 5th gear.
