Looking to get my transmission ECU fixed for my 05 LS, was wondering if theres anyone in the nor-central california area who does it so I could drive and deliver/pick it up so I dont need to wait 3 weeks or so for my car to be up again. If anyone knows of any shops or people who do that in this area please let me know, Thank you all!

 

It took only one week from dropping off to UPS, to having UPS deliver back to me. The repair was done in one day, the rest of the time was shipping. Don't think you need to wait 3 weeks. The repair place is in the middle of the country so I'd assume it'd be the same for you in Cali. I'm in PA.

 

what place did you send yours to?

 

Its probably SIA electronics. They just repaired my ECU/TCU - just call them and you can plan out the fastest way for shipping if you need it back ASAP. Otherwise mine was about 8 or 9 days w USPS.

Hi there, it's more in the 'greater LA area' than LA proper, but it was Leon's Transmissions at7528 Reseda Blvd, Reseda, CA 91335. I believe they have other locations in the area, but the older man who helped me there (I forget his name) was great.​​​​​​
