My ignition lockout systems intermittent. I put key into ignition switch, and it won't turn. Is there an easy fix for this? I need to drive this car. Is there a temporary disable method of this lockout system?

 

Will moving the steering wheel a little make it work?

 

on mine -- sometimes I need to turn it a lot (it seems) to unlock it. Try that first...

 

Yeah, give it a good solid pull one way then the other whilst trying to turn the ignition switch.
The steering lock on these is not the best design and sometimes gets stuck.
I have found it's best to park up with the wheels straight and not to move the steering wheel after turning off the ignition.
