OK, I know, "Bluetooth adapter from Aliexpress" and "Issues" probably go hand in hand but I do have an issue and I thought maybe there would be some insight here.

I purchased and installed a Yatour Bluetooth Adapter from Aliexpress - specifically this:

It plugs straight in and is easy to install and connect to and it works fine as a bluetooth device - but here's the thing: As soon as it is plugged in my radio goes to hell. Like the live broadcast radio from radio stations. I suddenly get this washed out, mono sound that is about 1/4 the volume it was before. It's absolutely terrible.

I have attached a video. I know the quality isn't great but I had some issues with file conversion from my phone.

Anyway, anyone have any ideas what's going on here??

FYI, I have contacted the seller but they have not gotten back to me yet.

 

I would suspect a defective Yatour unit or a bad Y-adapter cable.
I was going to buy a Yatour but read a lot of bad reviews about their build quality.

I went with the BlueMusic Bluetooth module from Germany in the end and have not had a single problem with it.
