Looking to replace my lower ball joints soon as part of a refresh on my suspension, among the aftermarket options (Moog, Dorman, Delphi), which would generally be best?
Well - it is all over this forum. Do yourself a favor - especially if you are keeping the car long term... Go buy the OEM parts. They are better, they are beefier, the cost isn't that much more. Above all, they will last another 15+ years.
You don't want to repeat this process when the aftermarket parts fail 2-3 years in.
My 2 cents anyway.
Mine is not to reason why, but when I went looking for a genuine OE radiator, google led me to a dealer website (they all look alike) that offered 40% off, free shipping, and no sales tax. Felt too good to be true but I payed using PayPal. It came. I did try to order more parts the next week and the discount was smaller. Also, it took 2 weeks so I called them and they confirmed they had the order and it was a spord.
So maybe if you can get a deal on OE go for it, try a google search then click on multiple ones that come back to see the price. Shipping can be a killer would have been $71 on the radiator which may have been a deal breaker.
I think my car got Mevotech tie rod ends, been fine, and I believe some do not like that brand. On an older vehicle, imho bang for buck is the name of the game. Saving, but not to the point where the job needs to be done again. Good luck in what you decide....
edit p.s. in my example, a benefit of OE was it comes with a new cap and the petcock. I bought these in addition and returned them unused. I had assumed a radiator doesn't come with those parts.

In the last 5 years Moog quality has gone downhill. In my experience Dorman has always been a disaster. The only brand that I would consider for Toyota/Lexus other than genuine would be 555, if available.
