I've had good luck with Beck Arnley and Moog parts in the past. I used them a lot more on my 2001 Camry than on my LS 400, but I'm planning to use Beck Arnley next time I need suspension work for my LS (due in part to OE availability and cost)

So far only from the suspension. The suspension was about ~$500 for non-oem suspension parts and labor.
Hoping to go to a bodyshop to get an estimate.
Be persistent and follow up with both the PD and other driver. Start looking into small claims court, get a lot of estimates and file a claim for damages. It may be worth a trip to the police station to follow up in person with some documented damage repair estimates.

He definitely hit some suspension parts since my wheels are not that out of camber.
I looked it up and AZ is just like NC in that it requires a vehicle to be registered to have liability insurance and in NC DMV demands tag turned in when coverage dropped. Something is going on here and the PD needs to get involved as in report you are supposed to receive accurate info and if other driver gave false info to officer that is a crime.

Other than seeing your buggy busted up the running around and hassle of insurance, police and the goon who smashed really sucks. A total irritant

Yes, I am going to follow up with PD.

I have been thinking of listing it for sale as is. It only has 96k and recently did a new OEM radiator with hoses and other OEM goodies. Did motor mounts a few months ago and drain and fill transmission fluid.
How much do you guys think I could get? I'm a perfectionist so this hit really bugs me haha.

Pricing is all over the place on these. Really depends on condition as the mileage is pretty good. I just bought a 2003 LS430 UL with 76k miles for $15k on BaT (Texas car). It has a near mint interior (black) and so far no real issues. The post face lift models do get higher bids so if you look as some of the more recent LS430 BaT auctions you can get an idea of what you may get on BaT. If your car presents well, have plenty (150+) of photos, a few videos (driving, startup, feature demostrations) and stay engaged with bidders and commenters during the auction, you would do well on BaT. Good news is being an AZ car it is more desirable that a rust belt example.

Oh man, I agree and disagree with Quinten, for the obvious reasons. At high mileage, it's the car you know vs. the car you don't. You know your car and you know where it is at. I went through this with my 04 before I threw an optional $4k into rebuilding my front suspension because I was always fantasizing about an 04-06 CL, but I made my choice. I had put money, time, and love (including resolving solder issues) into my car and some of the bennies from the original owner were unmatchable (completely covered floor and interior since day 2 in 2004) so I decided it was a marriage and I dropped the dough on the suspension. Feels amazing and the car is problem-free at 164k. I closed the door sort of my CL dream pursuit, but it was the known vs. the unknown. You have to make the call, and only you.

Mine is not mint but really great condition. Thanks for your advice.

Very valid points. I've had this car since October 2017 so I know what's been done. One of the local Lexus dealers just got a 2004 Black with 162k for 11k with good maintenance history.

I wouldn't make that trade. Your car is much lower mileage and you've already had it a long time!

The net cost of selling your car damaged and buying the other LS 430 may come out to be nearly the same as repairing the car

I would get some more quotes and look around at body shops before giving up and switching.

My car was hit in the front right in 2015, two years after I bought it. I almost gave up on it but instead had it repaired. I'm also a perfectionist at times, so I took the car apart again after the repair to redo the body shop's final assembly and get things back where I wanted it

11 years later and I have no regrets. There are still some imperfections I want to revisit, but I'm happy I kept the car, and a lot of folks enjoy seeing it at shows. I am certain it would've been crushed by now had I left it

Yes, since 2017. Yeah my wife made it realize that I wouldn't be happy with another car that I don't know how it has been maintained and cared for. I'm keeping mine until the bitter end haha.

You got a case of Wanderlust. We've all been there. 2 of my dream CL's went on BaT for $31k and $32k. I could have done it. I calculated the amount I could get for mine and then the additional cash from savings and/or taking on some debt, it didn't compute, especially not knowing at the time how high the bidding would go. Currently I am taking a break from the working world, tapping my savings in part because I resisted Wanderlust and invested in keeping my own proven entity.
Go take your proven entity in and get the baby repaired!
