ls430 drivers door switches
ls430 drivers door switches not working, fuel cap door won't open, remote central locking not working, automatic lights won't come on, interior lights not working, any ideas
Is this a recent problem? Did all of these issues come up at the same time on your car, or was it one after another?
Start simple. Check all of your fuses for breaks, as a few might be blown
If any are blown, it could have been caused by wiring issues

its my father in laws car and its a RHD, the car is in sain and it was left for 5 weeks and the battery went flat so he go it jump started , checked all fuses and all ok, now the only thing working on the drivers door is the window , all the other windows work from their individual switches, and now the fuel cap door won't open
If it's not the fuses, try disconnecting the negative terminal from the battery, wait for 15 mins, then reconnect the negative with a firm shove.
Sometimes if someone dithers when fitting the negative terminal you end up connecting and disconnecting several times and that can cause the electronics to get into a confused state.
The 15 mins lets all of the computers fully power off, and the single reconnect powers them all up at once.
