I installed the grom-aux1 kit today.
Hi, i installed the grom kit that adds a aux port to the factory radio. The install was super easy and the audio quality is great! I didnt realize they had a Bluetooth kit before I bought the aux one, but oh well... this will be good enough. Im glad a company still provides aftermarket accessories for our cars entertainment systems. I wish I had the navigation unit so i could add android auto to it, i just have the normal radio though. Overall in happy with the system, it does suck a little that I can't use the cd changer now but ill get over it. Thanks grom!
I don't know how the Grom system connects to the radio, but if you have the 6+6 connector or the 5+7 connector then you can fit a splitter cable and select either CD or CD2 by hitting the CD button on the radio twice.
If it's the Pioneer system I am not sure how that is configured, but with the ML system this works well.
I use the BlueMusic system with a 6+6 splitter and can choose between CD or Bluetooth (CD2) at will.

It uses the 6+6 splitter cable and BlueMusic modules.
