I found that my rear control arm bushings are toast. I only see the complete arm listed in the system diagrams. The price is almost $600 each at Bell Lexus and $300 each at Amayama. Is it possible to buy just the bushings somewhere? Thanks 🙏

Not sure if they can be obtained separately. What symptoms are you having with the bushings?

 

i checked as well, and they are not available separately from Lexus/Toyota. My guess is that since the arms are aluminon, pressing them out/in would damage the soft metal.

I wish the ball joints on these arms were replaceable. I don't know how often they go bad, it just sucks that every time you'd get a new control arm you'd then have to go through the process of swapping out the bushings again.

 

clunks over bumps, excessive negative camber - considering new springs too

 

Rock Auto sells complete control arms from BECK/ARNLEY for about $100. Complete with new bushings and ball joint. No idea if the quality is as good as the Lexus bits, but certainly a cheaper option.
