Default Manual key fix

I broke the inner piece of the cylinder by trying to force enter into my dead and locked car. The key didn’t work because of a crappy actuator fix which kept the lock engaged. The piece that needs replacement is a piece of plastic that activates the latch manually. I’ve looked everywhere for the part number or even a pic of what it looks like, I’m sure an OEM replacement is a lot but what would be the best method to fix this? Could a competent locksmith figure something out or is replacing the part or cylinder the best idea? Anyone else have this issue?

Not sure what part you are describing but the parts for the front door locks are here for 2001-2003 USA model LS430.

it’s this one I believe, it’s the mechanism that turns the latch to open. Wonder how hard getting that piece alone would be.

I think it's this? Hard to tell if it's for the handle or the lock.
