LS air suspensions differences
Hello everyone,
I'm planning to replace the front air struts on my 2004 EU model Lexus LS430 with new OEM air struts, but I’m a bit uncertain about the part numbers. The EU model uses part number 48010-50140, while the US model uses 48010-50130. Is there an actual difference between these parts or is it just the numbering? Additionally, how does part 48010-50120 fit into the picture?
Are the air struts for facelift and pre-facelift models the same?

I believe that the numbers are just generational (or may relate to different suppliers to Toyota) but that the design remains the same, so you should be able to fit 48010-50130 if you want, but 48010-50140 would be better.
These are manufacturing dates, not registration or model dates.
2000 to mid2002 - 48010-50110
Mid2002 to mid2003 - 48010-50120
Mid2003 onwards (USA) - 48010-50130
Mid2003 onwards (rest of world) - 48010-50140

I would like to purchase the 140 part but it is ridiculously expensive here in the EU and it is unavailable from the UAE or Japan. The 130 part is more affordable and I have seen more of them for sale. I know now that there is a difference in pre-facelift and facelift parts but I'm not sure if there is any difference between the markets.
