Default Bypass immobilizer

I have 01 ls 430 does anyone know how to bypass the immobilizer? I lost the chip inside my key and can’t get a new one programmed because the ECU won’t allow it

How do you lose the chip?

If you have another key that's matched to the immobilizer, you use that key to clone a new key.

If the key with the lost transponder is your only key, you're kinda screwed. You'll have to find someone (dealer/locksmith/???) to program a new key/transponder to the immobilizer in the ECU.

I have seen some DIY ECU reset hack videos but I don't know if this will work for an '01 LS430.

How do you start the car? Do you just have the valet key which programming cannot be done with that?

We can reset ECU's to program your own keys again. Not sure that helps you much if you don't have the transponder portion. You could buy a used master key fob with the chip, then send your ECU and have the keys deleted, and then program the used key fob into your original ECU.
