Default PSA: Key Remote Screws

For those that have stripped the screw heads of the screws that have been over tightened, here are the replacement screw sizes you need for this type of fob.

Case Screws - flat head Philips: M2 x 0.4; 5mm long
Button Module - flat head Philips: M1.6 x 0.35; 3mm long

If the module screws get stripped, you'll never get the case opened to change the battery. I've successfully drilled off the screw heads; getting out the remains, not so much. However, the case when screwed together will hold the module together.

The screws do not have to be reefed on. Finger tight is enough.
