I am getting my water pump replaced as part of my timing belt job.

Part # 16100-59275-83 (priced at $96.04 from https://www.oemgenuineparts.com)

Can anyone tell me if the gasket comes with, or is suppose to come with the water pump?

I don't know the answer on this specific water pump what it comes with.

 

I thought about it, but for not much more money I can get lexus branded stuff.

I wish it came in a 'kit' like is offered as Aisin branded.

Aisin kit is OEM except timing belt is different. Not better or worse just different. You can buy OEM if you want but you're paying more for no benefit.

Cam/crank seals and drive belts I always buy from the dealer.

 

If you want OEM, call Belle Lexus Online Parts in Scottsdale. They are having a 15% off, free shipping sale. The parts guys will give you the part numbers for what you need, then they direct you to online portal and you order. They will tell you what you need. Also, if you can't find an independent try a Toyota dealer. I bring the parts and they do the labor. The same engine is used in Toyota trucks so the mechanics are very familiar with the job. Price comes out midway between the Lexus dealer and an independent. Good luck.
