If no connector to plug just splice into the switched 12v. Running hot could be your audio problem. Did you try disconnect that steering wheel connector to get AC menu working

 

Disconnecting the steering wheel connector didn’t get AC controls working. I tried unhooking the battery and now my side controls are not working again 😩.

 

Ok find out from them if LZ is right type for can bus and send that picture of can bus and leave that connector off. Can bus has to be set right to communicate with car. You did try all different cars again after removing connector right?

 

The foam in your vents is all gone. While everything is out you might as well fix that.

 

There manual shows this for fan and also says to contact them for can bus type.

 

I tried almost every Toyota/Lexus. I tried briefly to find a contact for EKIY but was unable to find anything on aliexpress. I did make a discovery that i think is useful in diagnosing the sound cutting out and turning off the radio. I have no sound from the rear doors. Factory nav screen back in and rear doors are good. I’m guessing there is a problem with the harness shorting the signal to the rear?

 

Excellent that’s actually where I plugged it up to start. Where were you able to find the manual? I can’t find their contact info either.

 

If you go to Ekiy Global Store there is a contact button to the right. Also might be a bad can bus.

 

false alarm on the rear doors not working. They are working just if you fade rear they go out. The wiring from the front to the rear is only left and right channels so I suppose all android units are this way? This android only has the front channels wired. From what I can tell factory is the same? It’s the amp in the rear that then splits them off? I’m waiting to hear back from the EIKY folks about canbus settings. It also appears to be a T7 not a KK5. The T7 is supposed to be their best one. 🤞 I can get this figured out soon.

 

I saw the T7 when researching and from the back they look identical which is what I went by. Hook up harness is the same. Looks like similar price also. Probably just software difference. It should be in your settings for what they ask from you to determine but by looking at some of the screenshots should give you a good idea. Good luck.

 

Update 623. If i unplug the canbus decoder box audio issues are resolved

 

You did send them a picture of your can bus right? For the same unit at any time a different type can be sent. When I researched yours it looked exactly like the one Skyfame sells except for date and that was LZ but they can tell you for sure.

That can be a problem getting there help. If you have the email address of person you bought it from they can look up order number from that if he bought from them. The firmware in that can bus can be updated to any type and even though I found one very similar to writings except date it is still just an highly educated guess. Another option is send them pictures of unit and can bus. It could be that only by the order number can they tell what they sent you. It acts like the can bus settings are wrong.
