I was talking with someone in this forum actually who I believe lives in the Seattle area, but as I am Texas I ended up buying locally. Did you already post on this forum?

It's just a Premium -- so no nav or anything. But that's exactly what I have ('05 Premium in Flint Mica/Black) and I'll be doggoned if that thing doesn't run perfectly! You might want to give them a call and see what's up.
I gave that link a quick look. The silver car is like a zebra with a zillion different shades, rear door off, and bumper covers way off.....Key fob looks like it was stored away with the Titanic....Pictures alone make it look like a rag....Hard Pass on that one.

I read that they had issues with the transmission? May have been a recall, but in any case, I would consider a 2004 if the right one came around.

no, the tranny is fine. There was a TSB to reprogram the shift points but it’s a software fix and very easy to have done. My transmission is solid at 223k miles and I’ve only had it drained and filled twice (140k and 180k), then a full flush at 220k. I would not exclude all 2004’s over something so insignificant.

The main issue with the 2004 Transmissions had to do with the parking pawl. The cars that were involved needed to have the transmission replaced under warranty. More than likely, any cars that were affected have already been addressed with replaced transmissions.

I live near Olympia and will keep an eye out for a 2006. I have a 2003 with Navigation , that keeps me pretty satisfied. I just bought a 2012 es350 with Touring Pkg for my wife. It is white with the saddle tan leather with Naivigation and backup camera and only had 57,000 miles. Best of luck with your search.

Yeah I see what you're saying. Couldn't tell if it was the screen on my phone or what. Seems strange that a car with such low mileage would be that tatty.

There are very few available in the PNW probably due to weather.

If any of you have some advise for finding a good 2006 LS 430, let me know.
why are you dead set on a 2006? If you're more interested in a face lifted LS430 I'd recommend the 04-05 since the 06 is detuned by 20 less hp and torque due to emission laws around that time.
