Default Bumper repair

Hi I own a LS430 2001 color code 6S5 (Mystic Sea opalescent) I recently backed into something in the rear bumper on the corner & need it to be touched up. luckily no dents.
Currently considering my options here. I found a listing for $1300 for a painted one. I haven't directly got a quote from a body shop. but i'm sure it will be expensive anyone run into this issue with this specific paint color?
Body panels for this color are very rare on ebay etc. any ideas?
will post pictures if anyone has any experience and maybe a point of reference as to damage in this degree? whether I should DIY.. buy a blank one. and have it painted etc.
Thank you. I'm really upset about this & obsessed with this car so i will not leave it.

A body shop can definitely repair it (sand, fill if necessary, and repaint) cheaper than $1200. I think the question will come down to the parking sensors in the bumper and whether or not they need to be removed and then recalibrated but if you replace the entire bumper you will have to do that in any case.

Some hit me and put a hole in my rear bumper. A dealer body shop gave me a quote od 1354 for a new bumper and associated parts, painting etc. So you can look at that price as probably worse case.

The damage on your bumper doesn't look severe enough to warrant replacing the whole cover in my opinion. I think you could have it repaired and repainted for a little more than the cost of that part

I would get a body shop quote

Note that part says "PAINT REQ" - it's the raw, unprepped bumper cover with no addons. No Chrome or paint.
