To preface this, I checked every single fuse in the car, all were unbroken.
For a while now my audio system has been displaying "AUDIO OFF" and does not play any audio at all, however, this went out slowly, same with my fuel gauge. Pulled and checked both fuel level sensors and both seemed to be good.
Recently my break tail lights went out, completely, all three at the same time, my cabin trunk opener and gas opener have not worked either.
All of these circuits route through the trunk junction box, and considering all stopped working over roughly the same time period and this is the only connection between them, I'm starting to think there's no other option but to replace this. But how would a junction box itself become broken and the fuses are still perfectly fine, I checked the area, and theres no water or anything that appears to have damaged it.
Any guidance in fixing these electrical ghosts is really appreciated, this is basically just a reupload of my previous threads with more info, so thank you to everyone who has been helping me find the problem.
After checking over my fuse sheet again I realised the stop light circuit does not run through the trunk J/B, but the engine fuse box? I'm just totally lost as to what the problem is I needa fix my tail lights. (back up lights dont work either but the hazards and turn signals work)
+ theres no "tail light failure" warning on the dash like other ls430s get according to the threads ive read
+third edit:
losing my mind right now, however this wiring diagram appears to show that the tail lights are connected to the luggage room J/b, aka the trunk fuse box, however are not listed as one of the fuses there.
Idek what i'm asking for help on anymore, I just hope someone can tell me if im wrong in thinking that it is the trunk ECU.
