All,
Someone backed into my passenger door and left a decent (6"x6") dent in it.
I got a paint quote for approx 3.5k to replace the panel and repaint the door.
A junkyard near me has a clean donor car with a door as well (same color).
Question is, how hard is it to remove and replace the door?
I'm thinking just remove the panel, undo the electrical, and unbolt the inner door from the hinge and replace.
If its too much of a PITA I wont do it but I figure there's a better chance I'll have a good paint match with a oem door.
Thoughts?
Idk how hard it is to replace but i know for sure it will take less time than however much time it takes for you to make 3 and a half thousand dollars. Just replace it.
