Default Replacing driver door

Hi i have a 94 ls400 and one day I locked my keys in the car at a gas station and i had to get in thru the door because i had no money for a locksmith.. Now it has a gap at the top and leaks air even when its closed all the way..

I was wondering if there was a procedure to remove the whole door for replacement?

ill post pictures if needed...

Unplug electrical connector in door. Take plastic cap off door stop. Remove door stop bolt. Remove door hinge bolts. Take off door.

i imagine you bent the upper part of the door where the window frame is to get a coat hanger inside.
have you tried bending it back? worth a shot if the door is bent anyway.

doing so will be a challenge though, as you will need to hold the door in place to push back the upper part into shape.
perhaps wedge something hard in between the door opening and jam, but also something to keep the door from further opening (like an adjacent low wall - protect the paint of course).
