Default Cure for drivers side window!!

This worked! It is fully operational!! So keep reading.
I have seen this complaint many times. The drivers side window will not close properly after lowering it fully. Sometimes it will only go up an inch and then stop...other times it goes half way up and then reverses. It can take 10 minutes to get it up and if you lowered it at the toll gate or at the drive in burger and it is raining, it can seem like it takes 30 minutes.
I have seen the cure of spraying cleaner on the track. Didnt work for me.!!
Sometimes it helps to just tap the lift switch and then get off of it...sometimes it doesnt.

But this has worked for about three weeks now. And it might lead to an understanding of what is happening.
I dont roll the window all the way down, only 2/3 rds of the way and it always goes all the way back up! I am thinking this indicates a mal adjusted limit switch????

My (2005 LS430) front passenger power window motor started flaking out like that some years ago.
It would finally wind up if the car was turned off for a while and cool outside.
I replaced the power window motor. No problems since.
Like the steering column motor(s) and the side window motor and the power door lock actuator motors, they don't last forever.
