My 2004 has a DVD from 2017/2018 (Europe West). I believe that is the most recent one for the facelift (04-06) systems, but not sure for the 00-03 models.
I don't really use mine. I have a TomTom that updates itself and just works.
I have yet to drive a car that had a built in Nav system that was worth the vast effort that the manufacturer put into developing it.

Wow, @BigBoomer , I wonder if that is a European lucky break?
IN the research I have done:
01-03 - 2013 cd is the latest
04-06 - 2015 cd is the latest

Certainly Tom Tom or Google on phones are better, but I hate the look of add-ons in the interior. I moved to a completely new city at the end of 2021, and it helped a lot just seeing what roads were coming up, but if I need serious directions, I go to my phone.
...and the lady is just too slow. As my friend once said, "she sounds like she is smoking a cigarette in between instructions." HAH!
