Default Headlight Leveling Warning and Battery light

Hi Everyone
Today battery light and headlight Leveling Warning came on . Eventually VSC light as well and then dash lights started to go dark then back on. Was able to get into a lot and call a tow truck. Car was dead by then. Battery was brand new, changed a couple months back. Car is 2002 LS 430. From what I have seen online it seems to be the alternator not charging. Any ideas, suggestions or fixes would be welcome. Shattered at seeing car die on me.

Check the voltage and it should be 14.0V or higher when you just started the engine.

THanks. So if it's not 14.0 V or higher, likely a new alternator? I have never worked on the old one before. Should I go with Denso?🥺

It's a good idea to go with Denso. I don't recommend any others.

Thanks again. If that's the problem, then I will go with Denso. Difference in cost doesn't seem all that great to go with the right thing.
Appreciate the advice and help with my questions.
Have an excellent weekend
