Rear camber alignment
The dealer just delivered my 2005 LS430 after an oil change and installation of new tires.
During the alignment it was noted that the camber on both rear wheels was -1.8 and could not be adjusted to center of the tolerance without installing different control arms.
-1.8 is at the low end of spec (-1.8/-0.8).
While it is still within the listed spec, is there any real value in centering it within that spec?
Thanks

Not really if it rides fine and the toe is in spec I would leave it alone. In my experience I found that the upper control arm ball joint being worn(along with possible sagging springs) is the reason why the negative camber increases. In my opinion installing a shorter lower control arm is bandaid fix which also worsens the ride quality.
Not to revive a dead thread, but I have noticed my 2001 has visible negative camber in the rear. I'm certain the suspension components are stock (200k miles). Just curious if anyone can confirm upper control arm ball joint and/or spring replacement would help? Ride and handling seem fine but I've not had the car in "new" spec so I wouldn't actually know...
