Default Got an Alignment. Still not within Specs.

Hello all. I replaced one of my Toe Control Arms this weekend and I went to Firestone for an alignment.

Here are the results:

As you can see the following are still out of spec...
left front: camber and caster
right front: caster
left rear: camber
right rear: camber

I am only lowered an inch on Eibach springs. Shouldn't they be able to align my car better than this?

There is no factory caster adjustment. Camber has minimal adjustment through the eccentric cam bolts. Have you changed your shocks at all? Find somewhere besides Firestone. I've had a lifetime alignment with them for years and I still take my car elsewhere just to avoid the headaches. lol

The machine could be crap. Try finding a shop that uses a hunter.

Did you replace the arms with OEM units or aftermarket?

It seems like either something is bent or damaged in the suspension if you have OEM components or its an incompetent or lazy tech, as you should be able to get things at the very least even, i.e. rear camber to roughly the same around -2.0 or so, and also on the front toe that just seems like the tech being lazy, as theres plenty of adjustment in the tie rod.

It's the tech bro. Everytime I take my car to Firestone it comes out looking like that. Usually they just throw their hands in the air and quit as soon as they find out it's not going back into specs with factory adjustments. Firestone is horrible!

BTW, I had my car re-aligned with my lifetime @ Firestone last week actually. Which basically means I dialed in all my aftermarket stuff and let them fine tune the eccentrics. I'm 100% into specs however my steering wheel is still crooked! What a bunch of monkeys lmao

Its sad how many mechanics assume that once its in the green then its within spec. Not on these cars!!!!! Unless the reading was dead center in the middle, I ALWAYS got the crooked steering wheel. Take it to another shop and have them align it to dead center on all four wheels. Ask the guy to tighten up the camber bolt too. I once aggravated a mechanic so much that he gave up and had someone else do the job. He felt like he was "incapable". Never had so many alignment issues on any the cars I have owned in comparison to this one
