Default Lower oil pan leaking

I had my lower oil pan resealed a couple of years with FIPG at the mechanic. Now it has started leaking again in that area. Mechanic says it is the lower oil pan, and said that I need a new lower oil pan because sometimes it will warp over time. I have never heard of oil pans warping unless they were damaged, and it's not an aluminum pan so that doesn't really make sense. I don't understand why the FIPG would only last for a couple of years and start leaking again. Does this sound reasonable? They could just reseal the same pan again with FIPG but I don't know if it's going to start leaking again

Your mechanic is making excuses for not doing the job properly. Proper prep and clean along with 00295-00103 and you'll never have a leak again. Oil pan does not warp over time only thing warped is your mechanic.

They definitely don't just warp over time. If they used inferior rtv instead of the factory fipg it could have failed. I'd get a second opinion from another shop and have them check the dipstick o-ring as well.
