Lower oil pan leak
Hi, I seem to be having a lower oil pan leak on a RWD 2014 IS250 with 110k miles. I need to get back under there and make sure it's not the upper pan gasket, but so far I'm pretty confident it's a very small leak from the lower oil pan gasket.
Assuming that this is the case, is there enough space to cleanly remove and reseal the oil pan, or does this require lifting the engine off the mounts to get better access to the oil pan bolts? I wore out the Search button here, but still no definitive answer on this.
Thanks!

Responding to myself if this helps someone else, but for the 3rd gen IS250 the lower oil pan is very much accessible without the subframe being in the way. But just the thought of being on my back with oil dripping on my face while I scrape the gasket material off is making me consider taking it in.
