Just wondering if anyone was using an alternative method to mounting a rear glass dashcam. I have one, but it interferes with the rear sunshade and I was thinking about trying to rig some sort of rear [area behind the seats] mount using Velcro and then sticking the rear camera to that. Obviously I don't want to screw anything in. I guess the price of having a rear cam to protect the car is foregoing the use of the rear sun shade.

 

Can you just place it on the parcel bench where the speaker is or third brake light? Or on the corner where the c pillar meets the trunk. I find the sun shade kinda annoying cuz every time I back up it lowers it.
