Default LS400 Speedometer stuck at 0 mph

Hey everybody, I just got a 99 LS400 and the speedometer only sometimes works, as the mph is stuck at 0. The RPM works more than the speed does. I’ve tried firmly tapping on the dash but it doesn’t un-stick it. I also have another problem in which my front cigarette lighter doesn’t work, despite the fuse being fine(I’ve tired a spare too). Please help

This should be of some help for the stuck speedo: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/ls-...ff-and-on.html

Bottom line, the cluster needs to be removed to either DIY the instrument lubricant or send it out to have it done.

For the lighter, even with a good fuse, the sockets can still be dead. Have you tried plugging in a phone charger to see if that works? If yes, most likely it's the heating element in the lighter.
