Hello new to the forum here. The current me drives a 2013 es350. Since I love the brand so much I’ve decided to go after either a 1st or 2nd gen ls400 as I love the car so much. I have a pretty ambitious idea for it. And looking to buy a car within a few months.

The plan is a manual swap, along with power mods and a different style of build as I’m tired of vip.

Any tips/questions to look out for when buying the vehicle used? What could I do to add some major power. Good first maintenance tips.

as for major power, this forum will lack that info. you'll need to go to lextreme or other sites for those that build on the 1UZ, including a manual swap. it's been done but not well documented here unfortunately.
